Review: All About My chaos
Rock, drugs, alcohol and some laughter About
scene surrounding a rock star and his "chaos", there are all a reef to draw much party if done with some seriousness (if we accept the paradox was a comedy) to achieve a minimally credible and accurate result. Is not easy, and recent comedies such as "Adventureland", "Hangover" and "Superbad," we have restored hope in the genre of comedy in the scene contemporary.
This time, the starting point can not be more simple: rock star (Russell Brand) come down, problems with alcohol and drugs and almost impossible by a conservative innocent employee of a label ( Jonah Hill) to be picked up in London and bring to a concert that you can lift the flight of the label. Even with the apparent simplicity of a little script worked, the film aims to fun times, and in that respect is shown to us sincerely and with minimal risk.
whole trip back to USA some time guarantees us "Animal House", and allows us to a tasting unpretentious a light comedy, not to take it very seriously and leave the cinema hall with a certain smile on his face. Both
Russell Brand and Jonah Hill get some chemistry in the film about his misadventures as juveniles, as well as the fortunate presence of Sean Combs in a role tailor-made. But they are obviously not the only discrete interpretations or the sad and unimaginative script that could be positive out of this movie. "All About My chaos" we reserve some comic pieces that do might be worthwhile, especially the sensational staging a hilarious situation of your stay in Las Vegas.
Although the film is presented as a satire of the rock world and is preceded seal Judd Apatow production, neither the one nor the other have the potential to get enough that we are talking about a major comedy. In the first case, because even there the clear attempt to ridicule everything that moves the world of music stars more or less general terms, it is in a very superficial overview loose and making too worn clichés. In the second case, because even now that the presence of Apatow is synonymous with contemporary comedy, it is not in any way (and this film is a clear example) or clever comedy talent and another with a blatant commercial air that surrounds and engulfs the entire environment.
How could it be otherwise, this peculiar "chaos" we reserve the boring and ridiculous American moralizing that do nothing but tone down the comedy that at some point may have been high.
is therefore not the comedy of the year, much less remain a long time-of-mouth and thus room to room, but in any case a negligible option to spend time entertaining, funny, slightly the healthy habit of "marked a laugh", although few, there are.
